Change page orientation
Changing the page orientation isn’t currently supported. You can use Magic Resize as a workaround, just swap the width and height to get your desired layout.
Resize is available on these plans: Canva Pro, Canva Teams, Canva Education, and Canva for Nonprofits. It’s not yet supported in Canva Docs.

Use Magic Resize to change width and height values
- Select Resize.
- In the Resize section, select Custom size.
- Switch the Width and Height values.
- Choose whether you want to Copy & resize or Resize your current design.
- To undo resize, go to File.
- Select Version History.
- Select the previous version, then Restore.
Resize to Selection
Add a "Resize to Selection" option to the editor element context menu to resize the current page to the selected elements' bounding box.
- Select two or more elements, a group, or a single image or video.
- Right-click your selection, or select More.
- Select Resize canvas to Selection.
- The page resizes to fit the selected elements. The elements stay in the same place.
- To undo the resize, use Undo.
This feature is available in China. It is not available in Canva Websites, Docs, or Sheets.
I can’t find Magic Resize
If you can’t find Magic Resize even if you’re on Canva Pro, Canva Teams, Canva Education, or Canva for Nonprofits, then you’re probably designing on a Canva Doc. Resize isn’t supported in Canva Docs yet, but you can use Magic Switch transform your Canva Doc into a presentation.
