Downloading designs as video or GIF

Easily download your designs in video format.

1. Open the design you want to download.
2. Optional: Above the video editor, select
   (Preview) to preview your design.
3. Select
   Share, and then
   Download.

Saving your design as an MP4 video

1. Select
   MP4 Video as the file type.
2. Set the Quality between 480p, 720p, 1080p, or 4K (available on desktop only).
3. Toggle Save download settings on if you want to save the download settings.
4. If your design has multiple pages, choose between:
   • All - to download the entire design.
   • This Page - to download just the page you're viewing
   • Custom - to download specific pages
5. Select
   Download.

Saving your design as a GIF

1. Select
   GIF as the file type.
2. Set the Size, choose from 0.2x, 0.4x, 0.6x, 0.8x, 1x or manually enter your preferred size.
3. To download a GIF with transparent background, toggle the Transparent background setting on.
4. Toggle Save download settings on if you want to save the download settings.
5. If your design has multiple pages, choose between:
   • All - to download the entire design.
   • This Page - to download just the page you're viewing
   • Custom - to download specific pages
6. Select
   Download.

If the

Canva Free users can download the following video files.

• MP4 videos up to 30 minutes in length with a max resolution of 1920 * 1080px
• GIFs up to 1 minute in length with a max resolution of 1280 * 720px

While Canva Pro, Canva Teams, Canva for Nonprofits, and Canva Education users can download the following video files.

• MP4 videos up to 2 hours in length with a max resolution of 3840 * 2160px
• GIFs up to 2 minutes in length with a max resolution of 1920 * 1080px
