Use Create & Play in Learn Grid to create images with guided artificial intelligence (AI) activities. Upload an image, then choose a preset style or scene to generate a new image.
Use Create & Play activities
- From the homepage, select Templates.
- Select Education.
- Find the Create & Play section.
- Select an activity.
- Upload an image or follow the prompts.
- Select a preset style or scene.
- Select Generate.
- Select Start over or Use in design.
Find your Create & Play creations
Canva automatically saves each image to Projects and Uploads. Open an image in the editor to make changes, or download the image.
Fix Create & Play issues
If you do not see Create & Play activities in Learn Grid, your school may not have enabled AI features for student accounts. Ask your teacher or school administrator whether AI features are available for your account.
If Create & Play does not generate an image, check your internet connection, then try again. Large images may take longer to process.

Can I write a custom prompt in Create & Play?
No. Create & Play uses preset styles and scenes to provide an age-appropriate experience. Select an available option instead of writing a custom prompt.
Where can I find my Create & Play images?
